IRS Advisory Committee on Taxation for Tax Exempt and Government Entities (ACT)

Wendy Pearson was appointed to the federal advisory committee (ACT) for the Tax Exempt/Government Entities Division of the IRS and the Indian Tribal Governments subgroup of the ACT from 2009 through 2012. The ACT provides an organized public forum for the IRS to receive regular input on exempt organization, employee plan, and government entity policy. The advisory committee consists of external stakeholders who are appointed by the Secretary of the Treasury. The ACT makes recommendations on operational policies and procedures regarding tax exempt and government entities, including Indian tribal governments. ACT members serve two to three year terms.

Bailey Boushay House is a nationally-recognized facility in Seattle, Washington offering residential care and chronic care management programs for people living with AIDS.  The residential care program also offers care to those suffering from other life-threatening illnesses. Wendy Pearson is the President-elect of the Board of Directors for 2013-2015.
